When does Skills Lab take place, and how is it structured?

Skills Lab is delivered at the end of a LifeLabs Learning program as the capstone experience. Sessions are typically 90 minutes (with 60- and 120-minute options) and are designed for cohorts of up to 20 participants, usually the same group from the core program.

Skills Lab can target one Tipping Point Skill or combine several to address complex, real-world scenarios.

Skills Lab can be delivered in person, virtually, or in a hybrid format to match how your team works.

Workshops build awareness and introduce skills. Skills Lab focuses on application. Participants practice in a facilitator-led session, receive coaching and peer feedback, and leave with clear next steps. 

Participants work through scenarios, practice key behaviors, receive coaching, and learn from peers. The focus is on applying skills to current challenges.

Self-paced tools and peer groups can support learning, but they often lack structured facilitation, real-time coaching, and shared accountability. Skills Lab brings these elements together in a guided, cohort-based experience that supports consistent behavior change.
