My Facilitation Promise

I help leaders turn their desire to coach and inspire others into practical skills, equipping them with tangible tools they can use right away to build connection, confidence, and collaboration across teams.

Languages: English (fluent)

Melissa Bergstrom believes that when we center human-forward skills at work, we unlock a deeper sense of meaning in what we do, which is why she specializes in coaching skills, feedback, and sustainable work practices.

Melissa is driven by the idea that when we become more clear and intentional about how we engage in our day-to-day work, we can transform not only our own experience, but also the experience of those around us. Through small shifts in how we communicate, prioritize, and support one another, work can become more energizing, collaborative, and purposeful.

In the room, Melissa focuses on cultivating brave, supportive spaces where learners can connect with one another, share challenges, and practice new skills. Her sessions emphasize real-world application, helping participants build confidence and expand their toolbox for supporting both themselves and their colleagues, no matter their role. When she’s not facilitating, you can find Melissa with her nose in a good book or riding her red bicycle along the Erie Canal in Upstate New York.

Which LifeLabs Learning value most resonates with you? +-
Choose Courage Over Comfort is a value I am rooted in every day, both at work and in my personal life. Fear is a universally uncomfortable human emotion, and at the same time, I see it as an invitation to step outside of your comfort zone, stretch your ideas about what you believe you can do, and in the end, feel proud of the new knowledge, connections, and confidence you have gained as a result of your willingness to be uncomfortable and take a risk.

What Changed for Learners

“Melissa was great! Set the group at ease, incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. Aware of time without feeling urgent about it — which takes experience and intentional preparation.”

“I really liked that Melissa used personal examples. It made me feel more connected to her as an instructor, knowing that she struggles with some of the same productivity/prioritization issues that I do.”
