Katya Davydova’s mission is to create a more joyful world. By day, she is an expert leadership facilitator, teaching managers, executives, and individual contributors essential skills like strategic thinking, communication, and feedback. She is also the author of Joy in Plain Sight, a collection of stories and essays celebrating wonder in the ordinary against the backdrop of our always-on, always-busy world.
Katya received her BA in cognitive science and psychology from the University of Virginia (Echols Scholar, Phi Beta Kappa), and her MS with highest honors in organizational development and knowledge management from George Mason University. Her prior expertise is in people operations, higher education, and consulting, namely, creating company-wide learning and culture programs for large organizations and facilitating workshops and conferences using human-centered design. When she’s not working, you can find her exploring both city streets and especially wild trails, adding to her collection of plants, and learning about people in their everyday moments.
