My Facilitation Promise

I help managers become the kind of leader people can tell the truth to.

Erin Burgoon, PhD

Pronouns: They/Them

Languages: Spanish, English

Dr. Erin Burgoon brings a background in social psychology and executive coaching to their facilitation work, specializing in coaching skills, emotional intelligence, and the dynamics between people that shape trust, conflict, and collaboration.

Alongside their work at LifeLabs Learning, Erin coaches and advises leaders in government, nonprofits, mission-driven organizations, and service-based businesses, where they help people untangle the perfectionism, people pleasing, avoidance, and overthinking that shape how they manage, communicate, and make decisions.

In the room, Erin is known for bringing curiosity, lightness, and depth to conversations that could otherwise feel heavy or overly polished. Outside of work, they are usually playing one of their three guitars, playing basketball, getting lost in the woods, or hanging with their wife, teenager, and dog.

Which LifeLabs value resonates with you most? +-
Always Be Learning. I’m most alive when I’m learning something new. Whether it’s psychology, leadership, or the messy art of human connection, I thrive on turning fresh insights into practical tools for myself and others.
What's a fun fact about you? +-
I got a huge custom red neon sign made that says “Joy-Full” a few years ago after the launch of my book Joy-Full AF. When I moved to a new house, the only place for it was in the garage. Now my step daughter turns it on when she wants an extra creepy atmosphere to watch horror movies with her friends. Who knew joy was so scary!
