My Facilitation Promise

I help managers and teams become curious, capable, and confident: in themselves, in their work, and in working together.

Rachel Zwass, Ph.D

Rachel specializes in literacy and language development and family engagement. Her professional passions are using quality evidence to shape decisions and helping people of all ages find joy in learning. Rachel holds a doctoral degree in Human Development and Psychology from UCLA.

Rachel brings more than a decade of experience in social science research and teaching to her facilitation work, specializing in evidence-based decision making, problem solving, and effective communication.

Rachel has seen how empowering it is for people to feel confident in their skills, and not just in their field of expertise. She thrives on helping managers and teams speak the same language so they can worry less about how to work together, and focus instead on the work they are passionate about. She uses her deep experience in how people learn and effect change to help people become their best selves in the workplace.

In the room, Rachel is known for guiding deep and productive conversations while maintaining good humor and fun. She firmly believes that we can get serious work done, but without taking ourselves too seriously. During workshops, she creates opportunities for practice and making mistakes safely so that learners can feel confident trying out their new skills in real life.

Which LifeLabs Learning value resonates with you most? +-
The LifeLabs Learning value that resonates most with me is Always Be Learning. I firmly believe in the saying, "the more you know, the more you know you don't know," and I feel this value encourages humility, curiosity, and continuous growth.
What's a fun fact about you? +-
I love to play and be competitive: a co-ed softball league, dance floor at a wedding-- I'm there. But there's something I won't do: karaoke.
