Mop the Workslop: LifeLabs Learning Launches AI Transformation Program for Managers

Summary: New science-backed training program builds the judgment, delegation, accountability, and change-leadership skills managers need to deliver meaningful AI adoption.

NEW YORK, September 23, 2026 — During its first annual LeaderLab Conference, LifeLabs Learning today announced its new AI Transformation Program, a live, facilitator-led leadership development program designed to bridge the gap between AI strategy and daily team reality. Grounded in research from over 200 academic and workplace studies, the program gives managers the practical Tipping Point Skills™ needed to lead effectively as AI reshapes work.

Access to AI tools and technical training doesn’t always drive meaningful adoption. Managers are the ultimate catalyst. Strong manager support makes employees 2x more likely to use AI frequently and 9x more likely to say it boosts their work quality. Yet only 28% of employees get that level of manager support today.

Managers need the skills to discern when AI belongs in the work, delegate across people and AI without losing judgment or accountability, and guide teams through changing roles, expectations, and workflows. LifeLabs Learning’s AI Transformation Program builds those behaviors.

“AI transformation succeeds or fails on what happens in the day-to-day work of teams,” said Nathan Blain, CEO of LifeLabs Learning. “Managers translate AI strategy into real decisions, expectations, workflows, and behaviors. We built this program to give them practical ways to do that well.”

The program responds to challenges LifeLabs Learning has heard repeatedly from hundreds of organizations moving beyond initial AI experimentation:

  • adoption varies widely across employees and teams
  • polished AI output can hide errors or create costly downstream review work
  • individual time savings don’t always improve team performance
  • individual usage isn’t delivering on the technology’s transformational promise

At the same time, managers are being asked to drive adoption without a clear model for leading the change.

Rather than teaching people how to use a specific AI tool, the AI Transformation Program focuses on how managers lead work that AI is changing. The program includes three facilitator-led workshops and a Skills Lab:

Applying AI Discernment Workshop

Participants build a shared way to decide when AI belongs in a task, when it doesn’t, and how to review AI-assisted work before sharing it. This workshop is anchored in two memorable, science-backed methods: FLOW for evaluating whether to automate a task, augment it with AI, or keep it human-led, and MOP the Slop™ for preventing AI-assisted work from becoming workslop, or polished-looking work that creates confusion, checking, or rework downstream.

Managing People in AI-Enabled Work Workshop

Managers learn how to turn AI-assisted work into meaningful capacity without losing the judgment people bring to the work. Participants practice the Clear then Steer Method to identify what AI truly takes off the plate once oversight is accounted for, then decide where that recovered time should go. They also learn the Attention Before Action Behavior for delegating and coaching AI-assisted work, so employees form their own point of view before turning to AI.

Leading AI Adoption Workshop

Managers build the change-leadership skills needed to turn AI priorities into consistent team behavior and business value. They learn to map how AI is actually being used, focus adoption on the problems worth solving, close gaps in access and support, and evolve workflows as AI changes what’s possible. They also learn to assess progress beyond usage, so increased AI activity translates into stronger ways of working.

Skills Lab

The program concludes with a learner-driven, facilitator-adapted Skills Lab. Managers bring real workplace challenges and apply skills they learned from across the program through practice, coaching, feedback, reflection, and peer insight.

Together, the workshops follow how AI changes work across three levels: individual decisions, team practices, and organizational adoption.

“We’re hearing from clients who have invested in AI tools and technical training, then realized the bigger challenge is meaningful adoption,” said Blain. “Managers are central to making that happen. The leadership skills in this program help managers role model new ways of working, rethink workflows, and guide the behavior change required to turn AI investments into business results. That’s what helps organizations get more value from the technology and training they’ve already put in place.”

The AI Transformation Program builds on LifeLabs Learning’s approach to leadership development programs developed around science-backed Tipping Point Skills and designed to help new behaviors become shared habits across teams.

The AI Transformation Program is available beginning October 5, 2026
